Joshua 1:2 ”Moses My servant is dead; now therefore arise, cross this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land(Canaan) which I am giving to them, to the sons of Israel.
Joshua 1:7 “Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go.
Now is not the time to get squeamish. The battle is at hand. Satan is at his best with tough times. The devil knows which buttons to push on each of us. He knows no mercy. Satan tries to take us down. Give up. Quit.
Watts house sits while Jean is at Bible Study. This process of ALS is especially difficult on the kiddos.
WE MUST BE LIKE MOSES WE MUST KEEP ON GOING.
CANAAN LAND IS JUST IN SIGHT.
Keep fighting. Never give up.
I can almost hear the trumpet.

Hi Danny,
Reading your blog tonight, I thought about how blessed we are that you aren’t giving up — but faithfully doing the work God has purposed you for: sharing your thoughts, your insights, your faith. You are a source of encouragement to all of us — as your roots run deep. Your body may be challenged, but you’ve got “green leaves”.
Jeremiah 17:8 “He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
Love you Danny,
Carson

Danny, As Carson says, your roots run deep. We both were blessed by those who went before us. In the late ’40s your grandfather Dantzler was saw milling with Roy on the old Dantzler Circle. A hugh timber flew off the mill and struck grandfather in the chest. The call came to our family in Rossville that we had better come quick, because he would probably not live through the night. In 1957while deer hunting he caught pneumonia and did not recover. He was a tough man and never gave up. Your dad was tough and never gave up. My great uncle Clay McFarland, Janet Kennedy’s grandfather was one of the first people that I knew of to have cancer. He was my fishing buddy and he never gave up. Thanks for your never give up spirit. You are such an inspiration to many people including Margaret and me. Grace and peace, Bryan Dantzler

Dear Danny,
no new blog for the 19th…. Scaring?! Not only my thoughts and prayers are with you, I’m certain, specially now, because there is something missing this morning. The “connection”, knowing that you are going on fighting, hoping, waiting, living… TEACHING. How are you?
I wish you and yours a blessed day. Shalom.
